Selfish

Refusing to say I am right
for you, my selfishness continues
to leave me
wondering. Realism speaks to me
as a shoulder's whisper, yet
curiosity leads my actions.
Excused as good
intentions, I aim to raise
questions simply to see
the response, or perhaps
in hopes of self reassurance.
